How to Whitelist an E-mail Address

Gmail

For Gmail, the strongest fix uses three steps. First, move any Crowded Igloo e-mail out of Spam. Next, add storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com to your Google Contacts. Last, create a filter that tells Gmail to never send our e-mails to Spam.

If the e-mail is already in Spam

1. Open Gmail.
2. In the menu on the left, press More.
3. Press Spam.
4. Find the e-mail from storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com.
5. Tick the box next to the message.
6. Press Not spam at the top.

Gmail moves the message back to your Inbox.

Add us to your Google Contacts

1. Go to Google Contacts.
2. Press Create contact.
3. Press Create a contact.
4. Enter the name: Storm Aki
5. Enter the e-mail address: storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com
6. Press Save.

Create a "Never send it to Spam" filter

1. Open Gmail on a computer.
2. In the search bar at the top, press the Show search options icon.
3. Next to From, type storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com
4. At the bottom of the search box, press Create filter.
5. Tick the box next to Never send it to Spam.
6. Press Create filter again to save.

You need a computer to create a filter. The Gmail app on your phone does not offer this. Once you have made the filter, it will also work in the phone app.

Yahoo Mail

If Yahoo puts one of our e-mails in Spam, mark it as Not spam. This tells Yahoo you want the message.

Adding storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com to your Yahoo Contacts gives Yahoo another signal that you want mail from us.

Mark the message as Not spam

1. Open Yahoo Mail.
2. Open the Spam folder.
3. Find the e-mail from storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com.
4. Select the message.
5. Press Not spam.

The e-mail should be moved to your Inbox.

Add us to your Yahoo Contacts

1. Open an e-mail from storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com.
2. Open the sender's name or e-mail address (Hover over the sender's name or e-mail address on desktop).
3. Press Add to contacts. If you do not see it, look for a three-dot menu on the card.
4. Check the contact details.
5. Press Save.

iCloud Mail

If iCloud puts one of our e-mails in Junk, move it back to your Inbox or mark it as Not Junk. Adding storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com to your Contacts can also help Apple recognise us as a the sender you are interested in.

On iCloud.com

1. Open iCloud Mail.
2. Sign in to your Apple Account if required.
3. Open the Junk folder.
4. Find an e-mail from storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com.
5. Select the message.
6. Press Not Junk.

On iPhone or iPad

1. Open the Mail app.
2. Open the Junk folder.
3. Find and open the e-mail from storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com.
4. Press the Move button.
5. Press Inbox.

On Mac

1. Open the Mail application.
2. Open the Junk folder.
3. Select the e-mail from storm_aki@crowdedigloo.com.
4. Mark the message as Not Junk.
